Transport to and from Portland Airport (PDX)

Portland Airport counts with the means of transportation displayed below at their passengers' disposal to move between downtown Portland, the airport and vice versa:



Inter-terminal transportation

Both Terminals are connected to each other via the Baggage Claim area and Ticketing, through the walkway known as the Concourse Connector. In total, the airport has 60 gates.


The Concourse Connector is located between D1 and C2 gate areas.


On the other hand, moving sidewalks are also available to move between concourses


From Oregon Market, which is located in the center of the terminal, passengers may access to the South Terminal (Concourses A/B and C) and North Terminal (Concourses D and E).


There are free parking shuttles that run to and from the Economy parking lot every 7-9 minutes approximately.


Hours: from 04.00am to 00.00am. From 00.00am to 04.00 am. Shuttle buses run every 15 minutes.

Parking shuttles drop off and pick up passengers at the terminal's baggage claim/lower level.




By the Trimet / MAX Red Line light rail service, it is possible to get to Portland within 38 minutes.

First departure from the airport is at 04:43 am, while the last one is at 00:18 am.

To take the service, passengers must get to baggage claim area, at Trimet / MAX light rail station.
